Director Luka travelled the city of Frosinone to meet with the executive directors of the club and Academy. They have been a dominant force in second division soccer in Italy as of yet, however their Academy has made more waves then their main team who was just relegated to third division (Lega Pro). The directors spoke on how they can work together and Frosinone was very impressed by the work he had done to bring many professional players to Italy. This is one of the major reasons why at that time they offered to make EFA an affiliate of the club and Academy. After discussing it with the EFA Board, we are now more then happy to announce the affiliation formally.
The affiliation opens up another door in the province of Lazio and it sets the stage for our players to feel at home in Italy with so many friends about. The club has agreed to the following (click read more for details);
Over the last 6 months we at Eurostar have been working on implementing a Content Management System (hereafter CMS) that would allow us to take the Academy in its intended direction.
Igli Tare has taken a position as Director of Sports for S.S Lazio. The director of sports is the liaison between the team (coach included) and the board of the club. He is responsible for meeting the demands of the coach (in terms of supplying players) and that of the board in terms of delivering results. It is probably one of the most stressful job in Italian Football and I can't think of anyone better to fill this position for Lazio. Italian soccer has been so dirty lately with bribing of officials & other player related scams. Bringing in one of the most committed and honorable white knights of Lazio on as Director is probably one of the best moves the club could of taken.

The 33-year-old has been a tower of power in leading the line, hitting the winner yesterday and scoring one and making the other for Giaccherini against Milan.
Bogdani has been a major surprise thus far, although it is questionable if he can keep this form up. So there you have it. Not your usual Calcio Debate on this Monday morning, but then again Cesena are not your usual Serie A leaders. After 9 games played Cesena has fallen to 18th place, loosing 5 games and tying another 2. The season is young however there is still time forthe Eurostar Alum to make his mark, perhaps in this final stretch of his career.
