A few lions crossed the pond to attend the Milan Junior Camp in Italy. In attendance a few old players from AC Milan and a few of their Academy coaches. Our director was on hand to make sure the lions tried their hardest. The players made themselves stand out. Two of them were identified for further trials. On the second last day Michele Ferraris the Academy Director for AC Milan met with our director. He expressed sorrow at how his attempt at opening an Academy in Toronto had failed due to attracting all the wrong types of players. Once he saw our talented players from Eurostar he was pleased to see that there was some coaches in Canada who were able to teach soccer the proper way. Both directors exchanged pleasantries and promises to work together for the improvement of soccer in their respective countries.
This question is becoming more and more relevant with everyone starting to put their names next to the word.
Over the last 6 months we at Eurostar have been working on implementing a Content Management System (hereafter CMS) that would allow us to take the Academy in its intended direction.
Igli Tare has taken a position as Director of Sports for S.S Lazio. The director of sports is the liaison between the team (coach included) and the board of the club. He is responsible for meeting the demands of the coach (in terms of supplying players) and that of the board in terms of delivering results. It is probably one of the most stressful job in Italian Football and I can't think of anyone better to fill this position for Lazio. Italian soccer has been so dirty lately with bribing of officials & other player related scams. Bringing in one of the most committed and honorable white knights of Lazio on as Director is probably one of the best moves the club could of taken.
After 12 years with Hanover 96 I find it amazing that Altin is still a relevant force within the squad. The thing I like about Altin Lala is his confidence and how he makes fans feel safe every time he touches the ball, that sort of feeling is not instant it takes years to develop. This reliable little rock has been able to consistently perform without injury and with dedication.
