Eurostar Soccer School is fundementally different then any other training academy as it is has a European outlook on soccer training. For example our coaches will minimize the time that they have to talk to you, rather they will demonstrate the exercises as we know that younger students are more visual then their older counterparts.

Eurostar Soccer School is more like the private school of training, and our experienced staff, procedures, events and programs all reflect the premium level of service we provide.

Survey

The player Survey consists of questions to determine what skills the player wants to improve and also help with grouping of players within the training modules. It is important that the players be honest when they fill out this form.

Residential Activities

The night time activities are meant to entertain and educate the students in a fun and innovative manner. They will slowly introduce the students to the types of positive activities soccer stars partake in, and give them a chance to socialize and be themselves around other students of similar interests. We use these fun activities to increase the students interest in playing soccer, and their performance on the field usually improves drastically by the second or third day. We also realize that summer is supposed to be a break from the heavy workload of School, and these very memorable events are a good way to relax and prepare for the upcoming year.

• Canadian Professional Soccer League: watching the Premier Soccer Game
• Niagara Falls Trip (for 2 week Bogdani program)
• DJ Dance Party (dance floor/lights)
• Pinery Beach Trip- Beach Party & Barbeque
• Beach Soccer Training
• Short Films focused on Soccer
• Social activities where you will get to meet all the other students
• Night Courses (marketing, nutrition)- These are optional 40 minute interactive presentations with a Q/A section.
• Tour of Fanshawe College campus
• Karaoke Party (dance floor/lights)
• Cultural Excursion Museum
• Cultural Excursion Art Gallery
• Private Indoor Pool available as part of the training program attended by a Lifeguard.
• Exhibition friendly game with local team vs Eurostar Students.

Goalkeeper Academy

The specialized training is designed from European coaches in collaboration with our head coach. The program is truly distinct and innovative approach to goal keeping. Student Survey
We are continuously trying to improve on every part of the experience, and the surveying process is another tool we use to determine where improvements can be made. Registration

The registration process involves filling out the registration form with all the information, sending it to EuroStar Soccer School. We will always use printed forms in order to guarantee the safety of your private information, and comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

2008 Camp Sessions

2 week program is 13 nights, 14 days
1 week programs are 6 nights, 7 days
Arrival is on Sunday afternoon, departure morning on Saturday.

Airport pickup & departure

We offer this optional service at a cost of $140 CAD(extra fee on top of the program cost) to International and Domestic students who are flying into Toronto Pearson International Airport. EuroStar staff will be at the airport to meet you as you arrive, handle your travel by airbus to the soccer camp location & the same occurs upon your departure.

Simply indicate that you desire this optional service on the registration form, and add the $140 fee to the total payment ammount.

Student Supervision and Staff

We employee trained camp counselors and assistants who are current students of Fanshawe or The University of Western Ontario and who have residential camp experience.

In addition our management stays with the students in the residence along with the counselors and coaches who have travelled to train the students. There is always plenty of staff (1 staff for every 6 students) around at any one time and we have very well developed strategies to monitor the safety of students.

The night activities and student supervision are managed by Jeni Duro (University of Western Ontario Award of Excellence winner) who has 15+ years of dealing with students in an educational environment. Jeni is an Economics major and is now pursuing a Bachelors of Science at the same University where she works.

The operations manager is Amarildo Shaqiri who has been working with Eurostar Soccer School for the last 8 years. Amarildo holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a major in Finance from the University of Western Ontario.

Day Camp

The day camp runs at the same time as the Residential Programs. The 2008 day camp is named after Igli Tare (captian of National team of Albania and past student).

The Day camp includes the on field training section of the overall program. You can register for this program the same way as the Residential Program on the Registration Page under the Day Camp section.

The age limit for the day camp is 10-17.
Training occurs between 9am-4pm
Students can come early (8am) and leave as late (4pm) because our staff is on the fields until then.

In what way will attendance at EuroStar Soccer School influence students?
Students come to our school with a general love for soccer. The most important function of the school is to not only improve their skills, but to give them direction on their soccer career. Having a professional coach evaluate players, gives them a clear and concise direction on whether they should follow through with their soccer dreams. The independence gained from living away from parents for more then a week, the friendships made and experiences during the stay almost always serve as a catalyst to personal growth.

What are the applicable ages?
12-18 (residential)
10-18 (day)

Can a student apply if he or she is below the acceptable age?
If the student is of extra-ordinary skill and has a great desire to become a soccer player in a professional capacity, you may contact us to discuss the matter further.

Are students grouped in ages?
Age is a factor, but not the only one, the skill level of a player plays a huge role to which coach they get assigned.

What are the differences between attending the two 1 week sessions and the 2 week session?

If the student has never been to a camp before, how can you assure me that he will be safe?
We have strict rules for children who cause physical or emotional injury to others. Such students will be immediately removed from the program, without appeal. The fear of getting removed from the school, is usually enough to deter any bullying.

Security is paramount at our camps. Once signed in, the students are required to take attendance checks which allow us to track students. We have a security perimeter and policies in place to ensure a safe environment for students. Safety is an important element to foster learning.

If the student has never played soccer/sport before, will he or she feel inadequate with students who are experienced players
Over the years we have had children of all levels of ability attend camps many children who have never done sport/soccer now return time after time with enjoyment and confidence growing at each camp. The program and the coaches are designed to bring the best out in children of all abilities. The ability to listen and focus on simple instructions is the only prerequisite.

Some of my friends are coming, can I be grouped with them?
Yes. Please indicate your desire to be grouped with the particular person in the "Special requests" section of the registration.

Who attends EuroStar Elite Camps?
Girls make up 48% of the Camp (9 year avg).
Boys 52%. Average age is 14 (9 year avg). The campers have various goals, however a majority are strongly considering a professional career or a college scholarship.
