Welcome
The Eurostar Difference

Our European outlook to soccer training is the fundamental difference between Eurostar Soccer School and any other training academy in North America. Our focus on unique demonstration-based exercises, rather than the prevalent lecture-based coaching, is more attuned to early physical skill development.

We pride ourselves in helping our graduates achieve their professional goals. Eurostar is active in the recruitment of players for soccer tryouts in Europe, and have successfully promoted many of our graduates in the international circuit. Check out our success stories.

We realise that not everyone comes to Eurostar to become a professional soccer player. One of the benefits that Eurostar Soccer School offers is choice. Students and professional hopefulls alike can enroll in a variety of fun and exciting events, either they be with a soccer-related focus or for sheer entertainment. We strive to make Eurostar Soccer School not only the choice academy for professional development, but also a memorable one where social development and strong friendships are made.

Student Supervision, Staff and Safety

We employee trained camp counselors and assistants who are current students of Fanshawe or The University of Western Ontario and who have residential camp experience.

In addition our management stays with the students in the residence along with the counselors and coaches who have travelled to train the students. There is always plenty of staff around at any one time and we have very well developed strategies to monitor the safety of students.

The night activities and student supervision are managed by Jeni Duro (University of Western Ontario Award of Excellence winner) who has 15+ years of dealing with students in an educational environment. Jeni is an Economics major and is now pursuing a Bachelors of Science at the same University where she works.

The operations manager is Amarildo Shaqiri who has been working with Eurostar Soccer School for the last 9 years. Amarildo holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a major in Finance from the University of Western Ontario.

Day camp

The day camp version of the programs are the same as the residential. The only exception are the residential accomodations, events and the beach training are not included. The advantage of the day camp is that it allows us to instruct younger students or those who live near or around the city of London. Registration form for the day camp must be mailed.

Frequently Asked Questions

In what way will attendance at EuroStar Soccer School influence students?
Students come to our school with a general love for soccer. The most important function of the school is to not only improve their skills, but to give them direction on their soccer career. Having a professional coach evaluate players, gives them a clear and concise direction on whether they should follow through with their soccer dreams. The independence gained from living away from parents for more then a week, the friendships made and experiences during the stay almost always serve as a catalyst to personal growth.

What are the applicable ages?
12-18 (residential)
10-18 (day)

Can a student apply if he or she is below the acceptable age?
If the student is of extra-ordinary skill and has a great desire to become a soccer player in a professional capacity, you may contact us to discuss the matter further.

Are students grouped in ages?
Age is a factor, but not the only one, the skill level of a player plays a huge role to which coach they get assigned.

If the student has never been to a camp before, how can you assure me that he will be safe?
We have strict rules for children who cause physical or emotional injury to others. Such students will be immediately removed from the program, without appeal. The fear of getting removed from the school, is usually enough to deter any bullying.

Security is paramount at our camps. Once signed in, the students are required to take attendance checks which allow us to track students. We have a security perimeter and policies in place to ensure a safe environment for students. Safety is an important element to foster learning.

If the student has never played soccer/sport before, will he or she feel inadequate with students who are experienced players?
Over the years we have had children of all levels of ability attend camps many children who have never done sport/soccer now return time after time with enjoyment and confidence growing at each camp. The program and the coaches are designed to bring the best out in children of all abilities. The ability to listen and focus on simple instructions is the only prerequisite.

Some of my friends are coming, can I be grouped with them?
Yes. Please indicate your desire to be grouped with the particular person in the "Special requests" section of the registration.

What is your refund policy?
Withdrawing anytime before the camp, you receive a full refund. Withdrawing between the first day and half of the program you receive a 20% refund. Withdrawing after attending half of the program you receive no refund.

Girls make up 46% of the Camp (10 year avg).
Boys 54%. Average age is 14 (10 year avg). The campers have various goals, however a majority are strongly considering a professional career or a college scholarship.
