Camp Events

Events give the students a chance to socialize and be themselves around other students of similar interests. We realize that summer is supposed to be a break from the heavy workload of School, and these very memorable events are a good way to relax and prepare for the upcoming year.

Enjoy 2 games of Laser quest Team battle, this event is in downtown London, so you will also get to see the town on the way there by Autobus. This event occurs during the Altin Program.

Meet your fellow Eurostars in this event. Every student will gets to spend time with every other residential student, in order for everyone to get to know each other. This is always a fun event because the athletes are given questions by the staff to ask each other. These questions are meant to spark conversation and interest in the room. It is a critical event as it lets athletes interact and create social relationships with their fellow residential campers as these connections will help them go through the week(s) succesfully on and off the field.

During both weeks students will get to go to the theatres to view a movie of their choice, courtesy of Eurostar Soccer School. At the Cineplex Silvercity Theatres in London. The movie selection choice will depend on what is playing that week. The movie selection will be available on Monday. The residence staff will ensure your tickets are ready for pickup on the bus. We will leave campus around 6:30-6:45pm and arrive for the 7:30-8:00pm showtimes.

Play and Practice Soccer at the beach while also taking time to relax and take in the fresh summer air and swim in the lake at Grand Bend. We usually leave between 9-10pm for the Beach. The trip takes 1 hour and 30 minutes and we arrive before noon. We train until 2-3pm depending on the weather. Then we head off to our pinery picnic area.

Eat a nice catered lunch at the Pinery and explore its wonders. Towering Oak trees, sun flecks on a golden carpet of leaves, shrubs and wildflowers.

While there are plenty of opportunities to shop during the events, one event specifically will take students to the biggest and best mall in London. This event is especially nice for International students looking to buy unique North American products.

The Dance Party is the most liked Event at Eurostar according to surveys we have taken year after year. The party takes place in Forwell Hall. It is pretty elaborate dance featuring concert lighting, smoke machine among other features. The Hall is pretty big and there is lots of space although the dance floor is where you will find most of the students. The Altin Dance party has a German theme & the Edwin party has a French theme in honor of the land where these players play the beautiful game. Join in on the fun and bring your German and or French looking clothes.

 Watch London City Professional Soccer Team (Canadian Professional Soccer League) play on their home court at Cove road against another team in the league. This is a night game usually starts at 8:30pm. These players are truly trying to make it and the performance they give is not to be missed.

Enjoy 3 hours of fun at East Park Gardens. Activities include Go Karts, Mini Golf, Driving range, Water Park, Arcade and Rock Climbing.

Test your skills against other Eurostars in this optional friendly exhibition place to take place after the training with Luka. This is the first opportunity for players in the Edwin program to show their skills as it happens around 6 PM.

On your first day take the virtual and physical tour of the campus to get a better understanding of your surroundings. The major areas are the residence lounge rooms, student center and fields.
