Eurostar Events

Events give the students a chance to socialize and be themselves around other students of similar interests. We realize that summer is supposed to be a break from the heavy workload of School, and these very memorable events are a good way to relax and prepare for the upcoming year. We have these events for two reasons;

A) Provide a fun, friendly and memorable atmosphere as a background to the soccer instruction.

B) Asses the ability of a student to be a team player, how well the relate with other students. Because Soccer is a team sport this is a part of the Evaluation process.

Eurostar Mondays

Enjoy 2 games of Laserquest Team battle. Top 3 players win adherence points.

Meet your fellow Eurostars in this event. Every student will get to spend 1 minute with every other residential student, in order for everyone to get to know each other. At the end we vote on who we would like best as a team mate. The winner gets a perfect score on adherence mark. (very important event)

Take the virtual and physical tour of the campus to get a better understanding of your surroundings. The major areas are the residence lounge rooms, student center and fields.

Movie Tuesdays

your choice of appropriately rated movies for your viewing, courtesy of Eurostar Soccer School. At the Cineplex Odeon theater followed by some free time in the mall to shop or relax.

Beach Wednesdays

Play and Practice Soccer at the beach while also taking time to relax and take in the fresh summer air.

Eat a nice afternoon dinner at the Pinery and explore its wonders. Towering Oak trees, sun flecks on a golden carpet of leaves, shrubs & wildflowers and a rich abundance of unique and rare organisms; to many, this is Pinery.

Fun Thursdays

Bogdani Dance Party is the most liked Event at Eurostar according to surveys we have taken year after year. The party takes place in Forwell Hall if you haven't figured that out by now. It is pretty elaborate dance featuring concert lighting, smoke machine among other features. The Hall is pretty big and there is lots of space although the dance floor is where you will find most of the students

Sing the Night away with this event at Forwell Hall. Best singer wins adherence points.

Busy Fridays

While there are plenty of opportunities to shop during the events, one event specifically will take students to the biggest and best mall in London. This event is especially nice for International students looking to buy unique North American products.

Play off against your friends in the 360 Tournament. Games played last year were Halo 3 and Call of Duty. Adherence points for winning as with all our competitive events.

Test your skills against a local team. Eurostars vs Local team, major adherence points for winning.
